The Seventh International Symposium on Life-Cycle Civil Engineering (IALCCE 2020) was held in Shanghai, China, on October 27-30, 2020 (http://www.ialcce2020.org). The proceedings of IALCCE 2020 have been published by CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group, as a set comprising a hardbound Book of extended abstracts and a USB card with 225 full papers, including the Fazlur R. Khan lecture, eight keynote lectures, and 216 technical contributions. The extended version of selected papers presented at the Symposium have been published in a Special Issue of the international peer-reviewed journal Structure and Infrastructure Engineering, Taylor & Francis.
